How to make a short study session useful
You do not have to cover an entire module in one sitting. Choose one concept, test your understanding, and finish with a clear next step.
1. Choose a specific target
Replace “study banking today” with a smaller goal: revise one unit, practise a set of questions, or review yesterday’s mistakes. A clear target makes it easier to begin.
2. Attempt before checking
Read the question carefully and commit to an answer before looking at the explanation. Note whether you understood the concept or relied on a guess.
3. Keep a short error log
Write down the concept you missed and why. Was it a knowledge gap, a calculation, or a detail in the question? Use that note to guide your next revision session.
4. Leave yourself a next step
End by choosing the unit or question set you will tackle next. This reduces the time spent deciding what to study when you return.
